AETNA (english)

AETN
A guitar, decisive, with a distinctive and unique sound. Its acoustic peculiarity is to have a timbre in which the average frequencies dominate, even though it is perfectly balanced. This allows you to emit a powerful sound across the fretboard.

This guitar is a crossover that combines in its completeness unique qualities and characteristics. From the width of the handle to the length of the diapason, from the height of the action to the type of button itself. In short there are no rules. The only purpose is to have the guitar in your hands that you've never taken because you like it, but it has a very large handle, or very small buttons .. etc .....

For Florentine Aetna I used Indian Rosewood for back and side, as well as for the bindings.

fretboard and bridge are ebony, while top is slightly tapered and noble in appearance. The sound confirms.

For inlays I used 1.4mm abalone placed on the top and on the body while on the bands and on the bottom I used ebony / maple / ebony threads.
fret are the dunlop 6290. Which in my opinion are unbeatable for this type of guitar is how material is like measurements. Are only 0.9 mm high, so you'll understand that just touch the keyboard to get the note. Then, being these instruments with a very low action, despite the hard tension, they are very soft to play them. No note or arrangement is difficult, indeed it will be a pleasure.

The brindge is ebony jumper features some features that enhance it aesthetically but above all make it more durable. As you can see in the picture, I have inserted a blade of a mm in the bone where the ropes are anchored, this will allow us to mount both ball end strings (as in the photo) and strings in the classic way. This in particular has paved the castle's name for the guitar, which for the most curious is nothing but the historical name of the famous Etna volcano.

The neck is carefully selected in cedar and fulfills its duty.

While nut and saddle are in bone. As you work, as you can see in some photos on this guitar, I have also compensated the headgear. This allows the instrument to be tuned at every point at each key. Although the more experienced will know that it is impossible to strike different strings of strap and different strain force with the same diapason, well with this little note the decreasing or growing notes that you hear in certain positions will be negligible and imperceptible.

Painting is fundamental but as usual I always say that less is better to play. In fact despite having applied polyurethane varnish to water, I really put only a patina, among other things I did not use, on the table, any turapori.

In fact, after a few days of polishing, the paint film on the board was already anatomically adapted, highlighting every single grain.
